Gregor the Overlander- Book Review The genre of this book is Adventure and Drama.
When a 11 year old boy that follows his sister that falls into a grate and they end up in a world under New York city. They first meet these cockroaches that are a bigger then a human and they wanted Gregors little sister "Boots" to be there princess. So they bring her to a place called Regalia. They meet the queen of Regalia and her name is Luxa. They meet her grandfather named Vikus. He also meets Luxa's cousin, Henry. Gregor finds out that he is the warrior of the Prophecy of Grey, and he has to get 2 Roalty people, 2 Roaches, 2 Spinners, 2 Bats and 2 people from the Overland and thats Gregor and Boots. So they set off to their journy to fight the rats. Also when he was still in Regalia he found out that his father has also been in the Underland and also might still be alive.
He reads the last part of the Prophecy and finds out that at the end of the adventure there will be only 8 people still alive. He was scared that he was the one that could have died. Boots had gotten sick and Gregor was worried sick that Boots might have also died. If Boots was dead then Gregor wouldn't know what to tell his mom unless you know he goes away with Boots too. But I don't think that will happen, or will it... The other thing that will happen is that when he first arrived in the Underland he just wants to go home. He didn't want to do anything or be anyone but the only thing that he wanted to do was to find his dad and just go home. But in-order to do that he has to follow the strange Prophecy that foretells a role for him in the Underland in-order t find his dad, change the Underland forever and go back home. After when the Prophecy was over and they got back home Boots and Gregors dad was in the hospital in Regalia and Gregor was telling
